Three weeks to go and the Grade I BG Stakes and the Grade I AR Derby shook the Book up a little. The BG Stakes went to Blushing Meadows Shanghai Mystery which moved him to 8-1. Runner-up Harrowdens Ben Danzig moved to 15-1 and Ken Allans Soviet Lake remains outside the draw at 100-1 with a third. The big story of the weekend was Blushing Meadows filly Mrs Bombastic scoring a not too surprising victory in the AR Derby and moving to 10-1 in the Book. Maverick Racings Bulls Run ran second to the filly and moved to 10-1 as well. GlueFactorys "other" runner Death Row finished third and seems solidly in the race at 25-1.

There are some additions and differences to the Book this year as we get a little more ambitious in the presentation of the juveniles in the Run for the Roses. We have added a column for works. These are the best one mile dirt work, if any, for each of the hopefuls. Also, there is a new column titled Preference. This is the distance preference for each juvenile based on the results of Dandy Dan Stables Race Horse Conformation Tool. Where there is a T in parentheses, the indication is that the horse may have a preference for turf. Rather than the usual ordered listing based on current odds, this year the horses are listed based on their position on the HRP TC Qualifying Lists. Please, if you see any discrepancies such as position on the list, duplication, erroneous works, etc, site mail me and I will correct the list.
