Illinois Debutante
Two-year-olds Fillies
At a mile and a sixteenth on dirt

Four fillies were entered for the second running of the Illinois Debutante. The first running back in 2009 was won by Mshot Stable's La Stats with jockey E T Baird aboard. There maybe only four entries but what these fillies have already accomplished is what really speaks.
The favorite in the betting She Can Do It running from the three hole is coming off a runner-up finish in her last two starts and she will be looking to go one better in the Debutante. She will be up against stiff competition but that is nothing new to her and she knows how to handle herself in those situations, the only concern is that she has never gone longer than six furlongs but with a small field such as this one her style of running would be perfect and shouldn't have much to fear.
Pumpkin Racing sends out Daring Reality who has been actively competing on turf until her half length runner-up finish in the Sharp Cat at
Hollywood
Park three weeks ago. Bred for these long sprinting races Daring Reality should be up in the mix stalking rivals and pounce on them into the stretch run.
Queen Of The Peter is a really nice filly but she is always coming up short when it comes to her finishes. Her last two starts in Graded Company she was way off the pace and closed a lot of ground to make the frame and with this being the smallest field she has ever faces she could be earlier and pose a threat to the major players.
Finally, Miss Isle seeks some redemption as she was never a factor in the Glacial Princess Stakes at Beulah Racetrack back on November 5, she closed some ground but not enough as the race was over before she could get her legs going. With the added distance her she should make her presence felt.
Queen Of The Peter should get up in time over Miss Isle with Daring Reality and She Can Do It dueling it out for the minors.
