Call Me The Breeze and Guy Noir took the lead from the off with Wonder Bug sitting just behind on the outside Cuts Like A Knife and Shooter stalking the leaders two and a half lengths away, going down the back straight the lead stays with the front two with Wonder Bug getting closer on the outside the other two still waiting to pounce, as they turn for home there is three in a line Call Me The Breeze, Guy Noir and Wonder Bug, Cuts Like A Knife and Shooter move to the outside to make their challenge only now a length behind as they enter the final furlong everything starts to change Wonder Bug takes up the running with Cuts Like A Knife coming to challenge only a quarter of a length behind Call Me The Breeze on the rails a further quarter of a length back, Guy Noir weakening and Shooter still trying to run on with half a furlong to run Cuts Like A Knife takes the lead from Wonder Bug going a neck clear at the wire with Call Me The Breeze holding third on the rails with Shooter running past the weakening Guy Noir  for forth.
