Gold Belly dominates field in the ELP BC Turf Challenge. She led from gate to wire, winning in a time of 1:45.25 with a good track. Congratulations to Wild Spirits on the win.

1. Ruby Baby- went off as the third choice, only to disappoint many. She went to the back early and got too comfortable back there. She needed to be up on the pace, but chose to stick back.
2. Ventalator- Stayed close behind the leaders and out of trouble early. She improved her position to 3^rd, making it her 5^th for the career. She has proven she can run with the best of them here though.
3. Gold Belly- Was the one to beat from the beginning. Went off as the favorite, and proved she was by far the best in here. Congratulations on the win here!
4. Sea Ticket- Got up in the front early, and gave Gold Belly a run for the money but couldn't pass her. Looks to have really found a groove since the auction buy.
5. Quanote- Ran up behind the leaders early, but couldn't keep up with the pace setters in the end. Should come back strong after this race with another big win.
