$100.000 3yo&Up F&M 1 1/16m Turf
We get a short field of four ladies as we go to ELP for the ELP BC Turf and a $100.000 purse. I'm going to the outside post and will name Icicles as my top choice today. She looked good last out, getting her first stakes victory, at today's distance. That was a quick score, and I think she can continue to improve and be the one here today. Here's the Field -
1 Valkyries Cry had back-to-back wins v. Alw types prior to a pair of six length defeats in stakes company. She's going to have to be at her very best to get the job done today.
2 Kapahani stopped abruptly last out, but that was a graded field and she may have stepped up a bit quickly. She has a nice turn of foot and should be up close. If she can skip away, her heart could grow.
3 Jiggs Dinner lightly raced filly has found graded types to be a bit salty, and tries to find a bit softer spot here. I'm not happy with that latest race, and now comes back on very short rest.
4 Icicles got her first stakes score last out, taking a group of PA breds down in a quick race at PEN. If she can keep her form, she may be the one to beat.
