Poolside Ec back eight lengths early power shifted her way to victory with a stellar drive down the stretch.  The four-year-old filly wins her first graded stakes with style with a new track record and a one way ticket to the BC in November.  The old saying always the brides maid but never the bride can finally be thrown out the window for Poolside Ec.  Poolside Ec with three consecutive second best finishes in her last three graded stake starts the filly puts it altogether in the DEL Handicap.  The win gives Poolside Ec nine victories with eight consecutive finishes on the board with earnings of $775.340.

Mrs Bombastic going in to the stretch drive looked like a filly on a mission but she could not catch up to the driving Poolside Ec finishing one length out.  The four-year-old in her first start for Barcelona Farms went off as the favorite.

Fiore drove late but could not keep up with the driving pace set by Poolside Ec and Mrs Bombastic down the stretch finishing only one length out.

Tipsy took the lead early and held on entering the stretch drive nose to nose with Reason To Earn but could not hold on, finishing four lengths out.
