lead for the first furlong but it was not long until Prince Smith charged
forward to become the front runner.
Remlampago Jr stayed to the back as the field begin crowd.
They hit their one fourth mark with a fraction time of
:22.17 and Party Devil along with Planet Mars tried to steal the lead from
Prince Smith with Planet Mars succeeding for the time being. Lady Voyager makes
his way forward, joining in the duel for the lead as Planet Mars gives way
some with Prince Smith bounces back for
a moment and Party Devil still with them between Lady Voyager and Prince
Smith.
Lady Voyager pulls away from them at the last furlong while
Prince Smith fades quickly after the sharp run he had attempted during the
race. Party Devil and Planet Mars hold
on for second and third. Lady Voyager
finished first with a time 1:04.21, Party Devil finished second with 1:04.29
and Planet Mars finished 3rd with 1:04.33.
