For 3 Year Olds And Upward

Going 6 Furlongs on the Dirt Course

Winner: Garage Sale

Winning Time: 1:10.15

Trainer: Manco Segundo

(In Finishing Order)

Garage Sale would be in second for the first half mile of the race. With only two furlongs to go, he started to make his move to the top. Once he got the lead he would win by two lengths.

Blueberry Bay was in the back of the pack, and came flying in the final stages to get up for second. He is owned by owner Eagle Racing Stable.

Cruel Delight was running in third in the first quarter, and then faded quickly back to seventh. In the stretch he was still seventh, but would rally on to finish third for owner Samlam.

Shakopee Stakes

For 3 Year Olds and Upward

Going One Mile and Seventy Yards on the Dirt Course

Purse $50.000

Winner: Canonero II

Winning Time: 1:41.13

Trainer: Evesham Allstars

(In finishing order)

Canonero II would dart right out of the gate and head towards the lead, came up a neck short at the first call. From there it was not long before he would be in control of the lead. He would take the lead to go and win by five lengths.

Electrocutionist was third early on in this race, in the final stretch run he would dig down deep to get second. He is owned by Nelson Stable.

River Of Light had the lead for the first quarter, then was over powered by Canonero II to be second. In the final stages would fade to be third for owner Royalty Racing.

Kutz Stakes

For 3 Year Olds Fillies & Mares

Going One Mile and Seventy Yards on the Dirt Course

Purse $50.000

 

Winner: Tambo

Winning Time: 1:43.24

Trainer: Oncearoundtwice Farm

(In finishing order)

Tambo would stalk the pacesetter in second the whole trip. Once she got to the stretch she would rally on to prevail to win by three lengths.

Maggie The Bohemian was third for the whole race, in the stretch run she would rally to get up for a second place finish for owner Paradise Stable.

Crimson Haven was eighth, and once she hit the stretch she exploded to get up to third place for owner Deep Waters.

Allowance

Rush Into Darkness finished third last time out in a $50.000 tag. Today will try Alw company, and will remain at the same distance she has been racing at. She would wire the field to win by a neck. She covered the five and a half furlongs dirt in 1:05.71 for owner McIver Stable. Spatially won his Maiden at MNR in second asking. Today will come to CBY to face Alw company for the first time. Sits in the middle of the pack and attacked in the far turn to take be in striking position. He goes on to win by three quarters length. He covered the one mile and a sixteenth turf in 1:44.60 for owner Spinetingling. Tollbooth Tabitha has had two starts and she has been unable to get her Maiden victory. Today her owner Diablo Diablo decides to put her in a $17.000 Alw and she would almost wire the field to win by a length. She covered the one mile and a sixteenth turf in 1:45.07. Angel Swaps comes out of the Suburban Handicapt to race in a $23.000 Alw race. From stalking the pace he would go on to win by a length. He covered the one mile and a sixteenth turf in 1:41.55 for owner Australia Wide.

Maiden Special Weight

Red Ransom debuts today for owner Evesham Allstars in a two horse field. Out of the gate he would wire the field to win by 14 lengths. He covered the one mile dirt in 1:37.74. Canadian Lady stretches out this time around. She would sit the perfect trip just off the pace. She would rally in the final stages to take the lead to win by five lengths. She covered the one mile and a sixteenth turf in 1:44.27 for owner Waldo.

Claiming

Memory Storm has been struggling against MSW company, today he will run against $15.000 Maiden Claimers. He would come from off the pace to rally in the stretch to get up to win by a seven lengths. He covered the one mile dirt in 1:40.34 for owner Calebmans Racing. Cat Meat finished third last time out so his owner decided to place him in $15.000 Maiden Claimers. Would stalk the pace from third, and after the first half mile he would rally on to take the lead to win by six lengths. He covered the one mile and a sixteenth turf in 1:43.67 for owner Sarah Stables. Undefeated shortens up a bit to race at six furlongs on the dirt. Also dropping in class to $7.500 Claimers. She would come from off the pace to rally in the far turn, and the top of the stretch. She would take the lead to win by one. She covered the six furlongs dirt in 1:13.68 for owner Calebmans Racing. This marks his second win on todays card. Jacks Straight won his Maiden Claimer last time out at FE and today is dropped in for a $4.000 tag. He would come from fourth to be first to rally on to win by two lengths. He covered the six and a half furlongs dirt in 1:19.83 for owner Thinken Stables. He was claimed by Maxmillion Farm.
