Allowance

Dezaray won a $17.000 Alw up at FE, and now returns to CBY on closing weekend to see if she can get a repeat. She stalks the pacesetter for the first half mile. She would then press on to take the lead. She would prevail to win by three lengths for owner Silver Star Stables. She covered the five and a half furlongs in 1:05.13. Wrongly Accused has been finishing third in his last two outings in $17.000 Alw company. Today his owner Spinetingling will place him on the turf for his first career start. He would start out to be seventh, then by second call he would be sixth. With only one furlong to go and the finish wire nearing. He would high tale it down the stretch to get up to win by a length. He covered the five furlongs turf in :58.18. Synergy finished third last time out and his owner G2 Racing decides to place him on the sod. Out of the gate he would be third, and into the far turn he would advance to be second. Arriving at the top of the stretch he was still second. He would go on to win by a nose. He covered the five furlongs turf in :58.44. London Broil shortens up from a mile on the sod to five furlongs. He would be sent to the front by his jockey P Nolan. He would wire the field to win by a half length. He covered the distance in :58.14 for owner Meat. Six Is Good finished second last time out, and today he gets the top jock to take the ride. Sent towards the front from the gate to sit the trip in third. He would advance to second by the half mile. He would rally in the last two furlongs to win by two lengths. He covered the six furlongs dirt in 1:11.10 for owner Madddogg Stables.

 

Starter Allowance

 

Cheap Honking was purchased just two back for $2.500 and first time out for his owner Csardi failed in a $24.000 Alw. Today will try $8.000 Starter Alw, and will draw a match race today. He would go gate to wire to win by five lengths. He covered the five and a half furlongs dirt in 1:06.75. Always Wicked won a $3.000 Starter Alw two back. Today she would take on the $8.000 Starter Alw, in the early stages she would stalk the pacesetter. After the opening quarter she would go take the lead, to pull off a one length victory. She covered the five and a half furlongs dirt in 1:06.15 for owner Alberta Rose Stables.

 

Maiden Special Weight

 

Back Surgeon has made three attempts this season at CBY to break his maiden and has been unable to do it. Today he would come back for another shot before the meet ends. He would stalk the pace and at the half mile pole would take charge to go get the lead. He would take the lead to run off by five lengths. He covered the six furlongs dirt in 1:10.81 for owner Revel Stables.

 

Claiming

 

Smoked Them would drop into Maiden Claimers for her first tag price of $10.000 in her career. She would stalk to pace to take the lead in the final stages to win by seventh lengths. She covered the one mile dirt in 1:39.89 for owner 30 West. Shirtless Fighter gelded recently and this will be his first race since the gelding. He would drop into a $5.000 Claimer for owner Nelson Stable. He would be out early in third, but would rally on to take the lead to win by a quarter length. He covered the five and a half furlongs dirt in 1:06.19. Choke The Horn last win was in a $3.000 Starter Alw. Since then he failed in $4.250 Starter Alw class, and today will be placed in a $5.000 Claimer. He would stalk the pace to take the lead at the top of the stretch to go on to win by quarter length. He covered the five and a half furlongs dirt in 1:05.89 for owner Spinetingling. Ama Llulla finished third last time out, and her owner decides to cut her back to five furlongs on the turf. She would go wire to wire to win by three quarters of a length. She covered the five furlongs turf in :59.60 for owner Colonel Mook.
