Foster City Handicap

3/1/2008 18:45 Race #10 1m Dirt Stake

Purse $65.000 For Fillies And Mares Four Years Old And Upward Foaled In CA.

1 Irish Victory            Ch.f.4 LBb 118

Paradise Stable           Sire- Irish Eyes

(402 36 .09)                 Dam- Victory Spark

Bisono A

(235 27 .11)

Top SRF 2008- 89

PP1- This daughter of top twenty-five sire Irish Eyes has yet to crack the win column in '08. She was a game 2nd two back over the 8.5f at GG in the Campan and last out came home the beaten just 2 lengths in the Manate. Her last mile work at TAM was in 1:40.4 2nd best on the day. Worked a handy 6f here on the 24th in 1:13, also 2nd best. Bisono up for California trainer Silky White. Should be right there throughout, like her for minor share.

2 Mama Mouse           Bl.m.5 118

Paradise Stable          Sire- Coup de Vent

(402 36 .09)                Dam- Waltzing Mouse

Gutierrez Mario

(335 71 .20)

Top SRF 2008- 92

PP2- One of three Paradise Stable entries, she was the runner up last out at HOU. She set the pace to the stretch in the HOUDst before giving way stretch, beaten just a length. She worked a quick 5f on the 25th here in :59.3, 2nd best of 23 on the day. Gutierrez aboard the perennial stakes contender looking for career win number six. Drops back from 8.5f to the mile here, should be on or near pace again. Needs strong finish to take top spot.

3 Tremenda                Bl.m.5 L 122

Manco Segundo           Sire- Auto-Generated

(430 41 .10)                 Dam- Auto-Generated

Alvarado F T

(337 45 .13)

Top SRF 2008- 94

PP3- Five-year-old is the winner of four of her last six, all at stakes level. Started off '08 campaign in the SSMDsf at GP settling for show money just two lengths back of the winner. Two back won in graded competition with the lion's share in the BetHcp-G3 at CRC. She worked over the turf course here on the 25th going 7f in 1:24.3. Connections put Alvarado in the irons. This filly knows how to win. The race looks to set up well for her and she looks to be the one to beat come Saturday.

4 Jersey Doll             Bl.m.5 L 119

Paradise Stable          Sire- Auto-Generated

(402 36 .09)               Dam- Auto-Generated

Baze R A

(379 63 .17)

Top SRF 2008- NA

PP4- Last of the Paradise entry is also out of sire Irish Eyes. It's been awhile since she has found the winner's circle and she comes in off a bit of a lay off to make her first start of the season. Last out in December, she came home 5th beaten 4 lengths in the LaBrea0G1 at SA over 7f. Baze gets the call looking to get this lady back to her winning ways. On the 23rd, she worked a mile over the good rated main track in 1:44.2 3rd of 3 on that day. She is coming down from the Graded stakes level and fits nicely here. May be just what the doctor ordered for her.

5 Gigawatt                 B.m.5 LBb 117

Australia Wide            Sire- Auto-Generated

(369 94 .25)               Dam- Auto-Generated

Gonzalez R M

(259 27 .10)

Top SRF 2008- 90

PP5- This mare hasn't been a factor in her last two efforts relegated to 4th in both at SA, never threatening. Last in the winner's circle at CRC in October '07 taking home the crown in the ShTHcp gate to wire. Drilled 7f over the synthetic SA main track on the 26th in 1:27, best of 2 at this distance. Gonzalez R M set for Saturday with another searching for previous form. Draws the outside in this short field, no great hindrance. Not out of the picture by any means.

Selections-

3 Tremenda- consistent earner always in the mix, may be best finisher of the bunch

2 Mama Mouse- will be in the mix from the bell

4 Jersey Doll- should be about the mark here
