Dirt- Fast

Turf- Firm

Breaking a nine month winless streak in the opener was Glorious Song for Simmer Down Stable. Stalked the pace from the bell 2 back, advancing into the far turn. Strong bid deep stretch, getting up by a ½ length.

Recently gelded sophomore Sancho Panza goes right to the lead from the gate. Pressed through the ½, he was clear a length into the lane. Game late holding off late threat by a head taking his maiden for Jerry Garcia Racing.

Off as the favorite, Manco Segundo homebred Figara was forcing the pace right off. Sitting a length back mid way far turn, she was under heavy urging through the stretch, wins driving by 2 lengths.

Four-year-old chestnut filly Alleged Light was last away as the betting choice. Reserved down the back side, she found her stride nearing the far turn. Flying to the front she ran down lead early stretch, much the best late, the 30west filly wins drawing off by 8 lengths.

Scoring his 8th win in 15 starts was sophomore gelding Tennessee Ice. The son of Tennessee Jed was off a bit tardy on the rail but, recovered quickly and was in control at the ½. Never looked back going on by a length for connections at Spongebob.

Gelding Sugarcoat The Issue stalked the early pace into the turn for home. Full of run he challenged as they straightened, going on top by a length. Finished strongly out by 3 lengths, for Acber Farms.

Homebred filly Wide Tuna was shuffled back at the start from the outside. Urged up turning for home by Baze she was in striking position top of the lane. Under heavy urging through the lane, she wins driving by a length for 30west's 2nd on the day.

Long shot Radames was tracking the pace from the bell. Settled in behind the lead near the ¾ pole before launching his run deep stretch. All out late getting up by a ¼ length, the Ballydoyle House colt gets his 2nd career win.

Backing up her TUP maiden win last out was Pocket Rocket for Sloth Speed Racing. Laying 5 lengths off the leader through the ½ mile mark, she go underway. Closed to within 3 mid way far turn, too strong down the lane to be denied. She goes on by 3 lengths to remain a perfect 2 for 2 lifetime.
