Dirt- Fast

Turf- Firm

Backing up his claiming win last out here at BM was Hot Shot Spirit. The five-year-old gelding rated a length off the leader into the lane. Bid deep stretch, getting up by ¾ of a length for connections at Nakamura Stables.

A pair of juvenile races were next up on the card for the boys. The opener went to Wynnewood's homebred colt Florsheim. At 2nd asking he broke sharply from the gate, sets all the fractions en route to the 2 length win. The second of the pair belonged to Cajhawk's Straightandnarrow. Chased the pace through the opening ¼, bid turn. Headed lead down the lane, dueling gamely. Grinds out the win in a photo.

Juvenile filly Surf Kitten broke sharply from the 6 post and was challenging for the lead around the turn. Much the best late, she wins driving by 3 lengths for Spongebob. Again it was the young ladies this time chasing Wild And Free from the gate. The Neddynewnops UK's homebred was pressured through the opening ¼, then took control. Goes on by 2 lengths to take her maiden at 3rd asking.

Off as the favorite in this four horse field, Gold Commando did not disappoint. Pressed into the club house turn, he opened up by a length down the back side. Steady through the lane, he records his first win for breeder/owner Angelos Stable.

Sophomore gelding Antivenom, off as the favorite, sets the perfect stalking trip under Alvarado. Laying 3 lengths off lead as they hit the back stretch, he was full of run challenging mid way far turn. Strong down the lane, he scores by 3 lengths for connections at Torch Em.

After just missing last out at TUP, Rustymistybarry takes her maiden today in her 8th try. Carrying the colors for Kingelleinc, she was reserved through the ½. Found her stride far turn and was reeling in the front runners top of the stretch. Too strong late to be denied today, she wins driving by 2 lengths.

Five-year-old Great Girly Girl picks up her 4th lifetime win for Gryphon Racing today. Away well from the 5 post, she stalked the lead into the turn before making her bid. Urged on stretch by Kaenel, she just gets up near the wire by a head.

After two runs up the track for Ballydoyle House, Ticino gets his 2nd lifetime win in his 5th start. Right in behind the pace to the turn, he was moving as they straightened for the wire. All out late, he goes on by a length pushing his earnings to $26.960.

Notching her 11th career win in her 30th start was M2 Robbie. The five-year-old homebred mare was last away and quickly down 5 lengths. Turned loose as they hit the end of the back stretch by Kaenel, she was in striking position top of the lane. Under heavy urging through the lane, she just gets up by a nose in a photo. The stakes winning mare has now earned $362.930 for Manco Segundo.
