Maiden

 

Xucony ~ Training well in the mid west at CD for his big debut race here at AQU. Owner and breeder Sarah Stables looks to get his NY bred off to a good start and to the winners circle in his first try. Taking on state breds in this one was off to a good beginning sitting just off the lead in second, as he turned the corner and came into the stretch jockey M. Berry got him bye the leader to the wire to win by a half a length. Winning in a time of 1:38.00 for the mile on the sod.

 

Maiden Claiming

 

Jersey Shore Girl ~ She ran well in her first attempt on the sod running second last time out against maidens at BEL. Today owner and breeder CC Farm  will drop her in for a tag and run her against maiden claimers for $75.000. Stretching out for this start was out and in mid pack at the break, as she turned into the stretch jockey A. Garcia got her bye the others in the lane and the two went on to win by a length. Winning in a time of 1:36.90 for the mile on the sod.

 

My Catch ~ Drops in against maiden claimers today for $75.000 after having no luck in three tries getting to the winners circle against maidens. Finishing third last time out on  the dirt will now move back to the sod for this start. Out of the gate and last of the four starters, as he turned for home he went from last to first to win by a length. Winning in a time of 1:44.03 for the mile and a sixteenth on the sod and owner and breeder Running Farms. This one was claimed at the end of the race by owner Dynark Stables.

 

Claiming

 

La Bala ~ She makes her way back to AQU today after running here three previous times. A pair of seconds and an eighth place finish in the three tries against allowance company will drop in for a tag of $50.000 for this one. Coming out of the gate and sitting just behind the lead, as she bought her time into the straightaway she made a move for the front under R. Dominguez and in the final strides she got it to win by a quarter of a length. Winning in a time of 1:36.79 for the mile and owner Team Furey.

 

Snortable Grenade ~ Tried the sod last time out for the first time in seven starts. Finishing fifth that last time at CD against allowance company for $50.000 will drop back in for a tag for $25.000 in this start. Making her way back to AQU to run on this inner dirt course as she finished second the last time was away well getting out and on the front end, as she took her short lead into the stretch jockey M. Berry was all out to hold them off and they did to win by a nose. Winning in a time of 1:11.13 for the 6 furlongs on the inner dirt and owner Angelos Stable.

 

Allowance

 

Classic Hollywood ~ Comes into today off a fifth place finish in the Grade I Neartic Stakes at WO. Making his last three starts against Graded Stakes company will try allowance company here at AQU. Getting out of the gate and running fourth of the five starters, as he bought his time into the stretch jockey A. Garcia swung him wide in the lane and he ran bye the others to win by 4. Winning in a time of 1:40.32 for the mile and a sixteenth on the sod for owner Meat.
