Maiden
Judge Roy Bean ~ Finished sixth in his debut at MNR when trying the main track. Today owner and breeder Lanfranco Stable will switch him to the sod and will stretch him out for this. Out of the gate and wasting no time hustling to the front to get the lead, as he took his length lead into the stretch jockey A. Garcia asked him for more and he got it leaving the others behind to go wire to wire to win by 3. Winning in a time of 1:42.67 for the mile and a sixteenth on the sod.
Maiden Claiming
Pds Needs A Hug ~ Running a pair of seconds at two different tracks in the first two starts of his young career will ship here to AQU for owner and breeder Maverick Racing. Taking on maiden claimers for $40.000 last time will run for $75.000 this time as he tries the inner dirt. Sitting at the back of the pack at the break, as he picked it up on the turn fanning out into the middle of the race track and in the final furlong he caught the leaders to win by three quarters of a length. Winning in a time of 1:43.59 for the mile and seventy yards on the inner dirt.

Dark Beaver Creek ~ Comes into today off a pair of second place finishes against starter allowance company and will drop back in for a tag for owner Dynark Stables. Facing claimers for $25.000 today will hope to get bye these as he did the last time he faced this bunch down at CRC. Sitting off the pace when the bell sounded running fourth, as jockey J. Alvarado split horses with him they got clear in the lane to win by 2. Winning in a time of 1:41.13 for the mile and a sixteenth on the sod. This 4yo gelding moves on to new owner Angelos Stable after being claimed.
Allowance
Rash Move ~ Coming in fresh off his maiden score at BEL owner and breeder Power Work looks for the sophomore to make it two in a row. Scoring by a neck in that maiden victory at 19/1 was given odds of 2/1 this time out. Wasting no time on the inner dirt course when the doors opened as he exploded to the front to take a two length lead, as he turned the corner with C. Velasquez they hit another gear as they left the others behind to easily win this one by 4. Winning in a time of 1:40.69 for the mile and seventy yards on the inner dirt course and just missing the track record of 1:40.63.
