Maiden
Confirmation ~ Looks to break his maiden today in his tenth start of his career. Making his way back here to AQU where he has run two previous times with his best finish a third will now run for the first time as a gelding. Stretching back out to a mile was away well running in second, as he then took the lead on the backside and into the stretch jockey J. Castellano shook him free of the others to win by a length. Winning in a time of 1:38.66 for the mile and owner / breeder Grimley.
Danzig Queen ~ A nice running second in her debut race at CT finishing three quarters of a length behind the winner will now come to AQU and try her luck here. Stretching out for this one another furlong was eager at the start hustling out of the gate to take the early lead, as she turned the corner jockey M. Berry gave her a few taps of the stick and she was gone leaving the others behind to win by 6. Winning in a time of 1:37.79 for the mile and owner / breeder Mass Hysteria.
Claiming
Nicklette ~ Finished third up at FL last time out against state bred ocl for $15.000. Being claimed after that last start by owner Wolfs Den she will now try state bred claimers for $15.000 in her first start for her new barn. Breaking fourth of the six starters when the bell sounded and two lengths from the front, as she bought her time into the lane jockey C.C Lopez rallied her from off the pace to get her up in the final furlong to win by a quarter of a length. Winning in a time of 1:39.14 for the mile.
Kerb Crawler ~ A third place finish last time out against starter allowance company at CD in her first start for new owner Mojica Racing will now ship home for this one. Dropping in for $16.000 and trying the inner dirt track for the first time wasted no time when the bell sounded hustling out to grab a two length lead, as she took a three length lead in to the stretch jockey J. Velazquez looked to get her home as the others gained she held them off to win by three quarters of a length. Winning in a time of 1:12.99 for the 6 furlongs on the inner dirt.
Sky Lab ~ Tries AQU for the first time for owner La Canada Racehorses. A sixth place finish last time out at BEL against claimers for $20.000 will now cut the tag in half and run for $10.000. The KY bred was out well getting near the lead at the break, as he turned for home jockey J. Castellano went to work on him as they looked the leader in the eye and went on bye to scoot on home to win by 2. Winning in a time of 1:42.26 for the mile and a sixteenth on the sod.
