Fashion Milieu will be making her stakes debut and she will try and all the way in the $100.000 Washington Lassie at
Arlington
Park on September 10 for Two-year-old fillies.
Fashion Milieu had been a perfect example of consistency as she has been reaching for the stars with her last two starts. As most of the fillies in the race she will be making her stakes debut, apart from that she has a lot in common with the other fillies as all but one filly has never won a stakes race, but with the way in which Fashion Milieu has been improving she will more than likely have her way and have something greater to brag about as a Graded Stakes winner should she win this.
Busted Laff has won her first two races one of which was the Shady Well Stakes for
Ontario bred fillies back in July. She tried to make it a triple in the Nandi Stakes but had to settle for third as the second favorite. Since that race she has been working well for this and will look to redeem herself which shouldn't be hard in this race.
Larkhill Lucille recently broke her maiden on the third attempt but before that she tried her hand at stakes level in the Shady Well Stakes in July. She finished third in a small field of four fillies as that set her up well enough to win her maiden event at seven furlongs exactly a month after. With the win this makes her much more confident than before and we will see her fighting this one out to the very end.
Kates Reign has not raced much and from the looks of her last performance in the Nandi Stakes the experience was well needed. She will be looking to turn the tables and pull off an upset win but I doubt that is in the cards.
Shimmering Socialite has the potential but her condition has not been on point since breaking her maiden will find a few tough ones in this race for sure.
Queen Of The Peter will relish the distance even though she has never raced on the dirt before this should not be a problem for her especially when the journey is right up her alley.
