To keep this effort from making everyones head explode, the Future Book is based on the Graded Stakes TC Qualification list. I have dropped the fillies that are outside the top fifty off for now for the same head preservation reasoning.
Since the last Book, we have had a few graded stakes that have shuffled things about a bit. On December 17, we had the Grade I CC Futurity at HOL that was won by Pan Farms Byaneck which launched him to 8-1. Kopites Not Much There was second, moving to 15-1 and Larkhill Stables Embalmer, which has gone to Eastern Equine since, dropped to 15-1. Scorpion Stables won the Grade III Sham Stakes on January 7, moving to 50-1. Aml Racings Sport Gemini finished second remaining at 20-1, while Hunterman Stables Bold Star just made it onto the list at 100-1 by finishing third in a dead heat with Strangefate Stables Gannicus which did not make the Book.
This weekend saw Strangefate Stables Sector Seven take the Grade III Lecomte Stakes moving to 30-1. Mb Stables Dharkan finished second and Ekli Stables Bac For Cup took third, but both remained outside the top fifty at 100-1. Riggins Racings Cryptomagic moved onto the list at 100-1 by finishing fourth in that race, sporting the fastest mile work of any horse in the Book.
